Ingredients to Coriander Chutney
- Coriander leaves -1 cup
- Coconut – 2 tablespoons (Roughly chopped)
- Green chili -1 nos
- Garlic – 2 clove
- tamarind paste – 1 teaspoon or 2 pea-sized tamarind balls
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Gingelly oil – 2 teaspoon
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – To taste
Method to Prepare Coriander Chutney
1. Take a mixer jar, add coconut, green chili, garlic clove, tamarind paste, coriander leaves, and salt. Grid everything together into a fine paste.
2. For tempering, take a small pan, add gingelly oil to allow it to heat. Add mustard seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves.
3. Pour this tempering into the coriander chutney.
4. Coriander chutney goes well with idli, dosa and rava idli
