Best 5 and Super Easy Recipes with Wai Wai Noodles

Noodle is the lifesaver and it can be enjoyed anytime and any day. During my hostel days when I didn’t have access to any stove, I stocked up packets of Wai Wai Noodles.  It is crunchy, loaded with tastes and definitely has got the best version of “Naga flavors”.

About Wai Wai Noodles

This Nepali brand is known for lip smacking flavors and its versatility. It can be enjoyed as full meals or a chaat as a bhel or as a dessert or and even raw. There are many types of Wai Wai noodles available in the market, choose the best pick based on your taste and preference. The wide range includes egg noodles, veg masala, spicy curry, masala delight, Jain masala, chicken masala and lot more.

During a recent visit to the supermarket, I stumbled up to Wai Wai Noodles and felt nostalgic. Being #LoversOfWaiWai I have tried some unique recipes using Wai Wai noodles as a main ingredient.  Here is the list of

  1. Wai Wai Healthy Veggies Salad

This Salad is my favourite evening snack, if you want to prepare a super quick and healthy salad , do try out this simple and super easy recipe. It will hardly take 5-7 minutes.

Healthy Salad using Wai Wai noodles

Ingredients

  • ¼ Cup Roughly Chopped Mix Veggies
  • A handful of coriander leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Crushed Pepper
  • ¼ Cup Roasted Paneer
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin Powder
  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoon Crushed Peanuts
  • 1 Spoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Packet Of Wai Wai Veg Noodles
  • Salt to Taste

Method To Prepare

  1. Take a large mixing bowl, crush the Wai Wai veg noodles, add mixed veggies, crushed peanuts, and roasted paneer.
  2. To this Wai Wai mix add the pepper powder, cumin powder and olive oil.
  3. Finally add coriander leaves, lemon juice, and salt to it. Gentle toss everything
  4. Serve Wai Wai Healthy Veggies Salad .

  1. Wai Wai Chicken Soupy Noodles

The yummy Wai Wai chicken soupy noddle is a saviour during winters, you will surely ask for a second serving.  Just #MunchitLunchitSoupit.

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Boiled Boneless Chicken
  • 2 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • ½ Cup Boiled Green Peas
  • ½ Cup Finley Chopped Carrots
  • ½ Cup Boiled Corn
  • ½ Cup Chicken Stock
  • 5 finely Chopped Garlic
  • 1 Packet Of Wai Wai Chicken Noodles
  • 1 Cube Butter
  • Salt To Taste

Method To Prepare

  1. Take a pan, add garlic, carrots, corns, green peas, and boiled chicken breast. Toss everything for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the crushed Wai Wai Chicken Noodles, add chicken stock pour 3 cups of water and cook until the noodles are boiled. This will take 4-6 minutes.
  3. Turn off the flame and garnish the piping hot Wai Wai Chicken Soupy Noodles with finely chopped coriander leaves.

 

3. Wai Wai Noodle Kathi Roll

No child can refuse Wai Wai Noodle Kathi Roll for their lunchbox. This is super delicious and I have given a healthy twist to this recipe by replacing Maida kathi roll with whole wheat kathi roll.  If you got a picky eater at home, do try this healthy Noodle Kathi Roll.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Boiled and Fried Wai Wai Veg noodles
  • ¼ Cup Cabbage Julienne
  • ¼ Cup Carrot Julienne
  • ¼ Cup Onion Julienne
  • ¼ Cup Red Bell Peppers Julienne
  • ¼ Spoon Coriander Powder
  • ¼ Spoon Pepper Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
  • ¼ Spoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 Cup Whole Wheat Dough
  • 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil

  Method to Prepare

  1. Take a pan, add oil, mixed vegetables and allow it to cook for 1-2 minutes in high flame.
  2. To this vegetable mix, add coriander power, pepper powder, tomato ketchup, and salt.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare thin Kathi roll with the whole wheat dough and allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Add the fried noodles to the cooked vegetable and give everything a quick mix.
  5. Add the noodle filling and warp the Kathi roll tightly. Make sure the content does not spill.
  6. Take a grill pan, grease butter and roast the Kathi roll for 1-2 minutes in medium flame.
  7. Serve the Wai Wai Noodle Kathi Roll with onion rings and hot garlic sauce.

 

  1. Crispy Honey Wai Wai Veg Noodle With Vanilla Ice Cream

Now, who can say no to desserts, Crispy Honey Wai Wai Veg Noodle With Vanilla Ice Cream is my daughter’s all time favourite.  We as a family enjoy this crunchy dessert after heavy Sunday lunch .

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Wai Wai Veg Noodles boiled
  • 2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Scoops Vanilla Ice cream
  • 1 Cup Cooking Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Corn Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey

Method to Prepare

  1. Take a mixing bowl, add boiled Wai Wai veg noodle and dust with corn flour.
  2. Deep fry the boiled noodles until crispy and keep it aside.
  3. Take a serving plate, place the crispy Wai Wai noodles, drizzle honey and dust the fried noodle with powdered sugar.
  4. Serve the Crispy Honey Wai Wai Veg Noodle With Ice Cream.

  1. Wai Wai Chicken Noodles Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Cooked Wai Wai Chicken Noodles
  • 1 Tablespoon Mixed herbs
  • 1 Spoons Pepper Powder
  • 1 Spoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Spoon Chilli Flakes
  • ¼ Cup Roughly Chopped Onion
  • 1 Cup Cooking Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornflour
  • Salt To Taste

 

Method to Prepare

  1. Take a mixing bowl, add cooked Wai Wai chicken noodles, onion, mixed herbs, pepper powder, garlic powder, chili flakes, and salt.
  2. Add cornflour and pour 1-2 tablespoon water. Keep the consistency of the fritter mix thick.
  3. Heat the oil and drop a spoonful of noodle mix and deep fry until the fritters turn golden brown in color.
  4. Serve Wai Wai Chicken Noodles Fritters with tomato ketchup.
